I'm loving it so far. Less accidents, less hassles when driving, fewer things to worry about for the homeless people, much cheaper utility bills, I can still run and do outdoor things without having to worry about my own survival. I do believe that real winter will eventually come though, maybe within a month or so Ah well, all good things must come to an end eventually...

I don't feel bad for you. You had the last two winters to enjoy.

Very true, good point.
Auto accidents are a big part of winter in areas that get heavy snowfall. Look at the mess in the upper Midwest today. Although we on the East Coast from NYC southward only get snow intermittently in most winters, it's still enough to cause accidents when it falls. Also, I think folks up in the far northern part of the USA in the snowbelts like the Western Mts/Great Lakes/New England learn to drive in snow since they get so much most winters. People living in regions further south have much more trouble driving in snow since they're not really used to it.

I often don't drive, but I do get annoyed at walking through slush and having to deal with messy and icy crosswalk entrances and sidewalks.

I was really annoyed that we were having temperatures in the 80s in the first week of January. But this is Southern CA what are you going to do? It is located in a part of the world that has warmth. Now if we could just get some rain out here that would be really nice

You sound like a cool weather fan.
The only thing I can say to cheer you up is be lucky your not down in Miami - lol. LAX has only hit 80 F or higher 4 times since winter started on December 1st....while Miami International has hit 80 F or higher 25 times since Dec 1st. In fact, the average high temp for December at LAX for December was only 64 F...while it was 79 F at Miami International - lol.
So for you it could be much worse lad.

Same here in NE Wisc., 1st snow of the season! I don't have to be out driving so I don't mind. In the scheme of things, snow totals are counted in moisture amounts and we really need this snow as it has been too dry.

We had a very hot summer which ran up the electric bills. The last 2 years have been very cold - think Kansas, wind and old house! It was 20 degrees today but will be up in the 40's by the weekend. Bring on the sunshine! Originally from Michigan.
