Default Rate your current climate month by month

We all have rated our hometown climate in the appropriate thread and so on, but what could be more interesting is to rate each month separately with the same grading system (A for excellent, F for huge crap, etc.) This way, we can see if C's rated climate are actually C all year or A and F, etc ! It can also be a good way to take daylight hours and patterns in our ratings, etc.
You are welcome to rate any city in which you have lived for more than one full year.

I'll start with Nice (from Jan to Dec) :

Jan C- Too little daylight, too cool but quite some sun
Feb C
Mar C+
Apr B-
May B+
Jun A-
Jul A+ Not as hot as I'd like it to be but the extensively long days, abundant sunshine and warm temps makes it difficult to be rated less than A+ IMO
Aug A
Sep B
Oct C+
Nov C-
Dec C-

Very hard to do for London because our climate is so erratic - one eg November may be completely different from the one before. For example:

August 2003 = rainfall 13.4mm on 3 days/233.3 sun hours
August 2004 = rainfall 124.7mm on 20 days/147.5 sun hours

February 2008 = 134.8 sun hours
August 2008 = 97.1 sun hours

Every December between 1997 and 2009 inclusive = 0 ice days
December 2010 = 11 ice days

July 2006 avg. high = 27.1C
July 2007 avg. high = 20.6C

etc...

It's true what ben says, however. Look at the figures for Leeds airport:

December 2010 mean temperature: -0.4C
December 2011 mean temperature: 4.6C

Hmm... am I rating my climate on how good it is, or what I'd like that month to be? I'll rate it in terms of comfort and enjoyability.

JAN: C+
FEB: C+
MAR: B-
APR: B+
MAY: A-
JUN: A-
JUL: C
AUG: B
SEP: B+
OCT: A-
NOV: B
DEC: B-

Cairo is a solid B/B- for me. It really doesn't vary a lot ( compared to, say, most hot-summer continental climates varying between A+ summers and D- winters ), but it could do with more rain.

As you can see, I'm fairly happy with all months. Summer is my favorite season, but I still enjoy whatever season it is. All months are moderately sunny, without too many raindays, have good rainfall and tend to stay very close to average temps. There are exceptions (like the lack of sun at present), but on the whole , very pleasant and with good weather variety.

Jan D+ far too mild but some chance of getting coldish weather
Feb D- same but the chances vanish as the season advances and the sun strengthens
Mar F+ mostly boring
Apr D- same but more temperature swings, more sunshine and the excitment of the first warmish days
May C one of the stormiest months, chance of getting the first 30C+ temps
Jun C+ pretty much the same, only warmer and longer days
Jul B- warmest month of the year, feels more like summer than January feels like winter
Aug C+ the same but summer fading out and shorter days make it less enjoyable
Sep C- some decently sunny spells
Oct C- some interesting weather changes, the last warm days followed by the first frosts
Nov D mostly bland and boring, lately almost only warm Novembers
Dec D+ some chance of coldish weather but mostly oceanic boringness

The only months i find passibly tolerable in the UK are april and may, mainly as the rest of europe hasnt warmed up much more than the UK yet so i dont feel like im missing out on the good continental summers the other side of the channel. In recent years most both have been reasonably sunny, with some nicely warm days and good transition months from winter to summer.
