I wouldn't mind complete loss of sunshine if...

It was still 90 F/32 C with humidity under 40%.

^^ An extremely unusual combination,
but I would be both warm enough and dry enough without the help of the sun.

75 F/24 C and completely sunless is blah, tepid, somewhat coolish weather
where I might prefer a sweater and a hot cup of tea
for swimming it doesn't suck too much, but it's certainly not ideal.

Seems to be a tradition in my family- We all love stormy gloomy weather. Others will say "what a miserable day" - It might be if you are gifted with a light or a mini sun in your heart that weather does not effect your mood?

Pockets of sunshine (or a few hours here and there) interspersed with generally cloudy weather is my ideal. A full day of sunshine here and there is fine of course. My dream climate would often feature days like we're having today during the summer (clear and chilly to start, but warming up into the 70s).

Because in summer sunny weather usually associates with heat, I appreciate cloudy and rainy weather then. It's so refreshing, opposite to the scorching heat. However, I would take cool/cold and sunny over cool/cold and cloudy.
