I do, but anything up to 2400 hours or so is acceptable. My ideal is 1700 hours or so, but somehow when I added up all the days I inserted into the climate it came out to around 2400 . Despite this sunshine stretches rarely go on long enough to drive me crazy. Perhaps at the root of it is the day-to-day variations being informed by sunny North America. Future statistics will include more cloud cover if I can help it.

Lovely climate.

Rates a solid "A" from me, despite it being a bit chilly in winter and a tad dry in summer, both of which is no trouble for me to handle...lol.

I love the copious snowfall, the low summer average highs and lows, and the regular thunderstorms in all seasons. I've never experienced a bona-fide blizzard, so that'd be a real treat listening to the wind howl on a frigid winter's night, the snow so thick that you can get lost in your own front yard....lol. And no more humidity, ever...yay!

F+ from me, due to decently mild summer days and quite good yearly sunshine, though I suspect a very uneven distribution.

PM, I thought you hated sunshine
Me hate sunshine? Are you high on acid?

I believe that was in reference to me.

Well, perhaps next time you bring up a climate I'll hang around its thread like a vulture too .

I say it's a lovely climate, an A+ perfect grade. That should come as no surprise considering I created it myself to serve as my dream climate .

Unless your initials are PM, which would be very coincidental, I believe it's more likely that I was referring to Patricius Maximus

Default New Sunshine Averages

I have compiled new sunshine averages for Patricianopolis, and it's not quite as sunny as originally suggested. I've used four years of data instead of just one year, and the annual sunshine total is 2244 hours, instead of the 2397 that was previously reported. Below are the first-ever monthly Patrician sunshine stats :

Jan: 115
Feb: 139
Mar: 160
Apr: 231
May: 235
Jun: 293
Jul: 273
Aug: 241
Sep: 181
Oct: 163
Nov: 102
Dec: 111

Annual: 2244

June is the sunniest month and November is the cloudiest month. Since this place is on the 50th parallel, sunshine totals may be distorted based on the day length, so I'm also including stats of the percent of possible sunshine:

Jan: 44.2%
Feb: 49.6%
Mar: 44.1%
Apr: 56.6%
May: 49.9%
Jun: 60.7%
Jul: 56.1%
Aug: 54.4%
Sep: 48.7%
Oct: 49.5%
Nov: 38.6%
Dec: 45.3%

Annual: 51.2%

And as a bonus, average daily sunshine in hours :

Jan: 3.7
Feb: 4.9
Mar: 5.2
Apr: 7.7
May: 7.6
Jun: 9.8
Jul: 8.8
Aug: 7.8
Sep: 6.0
Oct: 5.3
Nov: 3.4
Dec: 3.6

Annual: 6.1

F, this is a dreadful climate. You can only 'enjoy' the outdoors for 3 months of the year, and even then only for a few hours a day with those winter-like lows.
