Since GFS has shown something in this time frame for 9 of the last 12 runs, I guess we can start talking about it.

This might be our next chance at big rains after the April 23rd, May 10th events..

First we'll start with the 00z run from the 9th.
Shows a Tropical system down south that rides up just off the coast.

00z from the 10th.

Latest 00z.

Latest 00z 5 day rain total for long range May 21-25(Mon-Fri)

We've dried out after 6 inches of rain in a 2-3 week stretch! Gorgeous weather, unbelieable how the trees are leafed out, flowers, everything is awesome, a good 3-4 weeks ahead of schedule!

Parts of England are no longer in drought anymore due to recent heavy rainfall.

BBC News - Parts of England no longer in drought after heavy rain

Severe flooding in Yorkshire yesterday due to torrential rain and showers. No warning from our beloved Met Office though, they probably think it's a normal occurrence here!

Lets see if my concern plays out. I hope not.

My concern is that a strong Low in Canada will move across the country and drag the polar air and bleed into the Eastern U.S
I posted this May 5th. I wonder if this is what happened today, just a couple days earlier. I knew something looked fishy. Frost advisories were up for parts of Northeast and temps got to low 30s. And the Low strengthen near Maine/Canada so even that was close.
