Yep, the next couple of days are supposed to be very warm and sunny. The snow cover does not look very deep so I think much of it will be gone soon. And good riddance

Good riddance? There was hardly any to begin with!

I'm disappointed with the lack of snow, but it was still a very pleasant winter.

I agree in a sense. I had two ski trips to northern NE this season, and the man-made ice/snow mix on the slopes there did not exactly contribute to a great experience. That said, I'm a firm believer that a winter should remain within its bounds. And I consider March to be a spring month. If this was X-mas time, I'd be hoping for a blizzard. But given that it is practically second week of March already, I feel justified in feeling distaste for snow (not that there is any snow in NYC or its immediate suburbs).

Sure has/will be cold in Moscow at the moment. -6/7 (20f) by day and down to near 0f by night. So much for Spring.

Winter in Moscow lasts until mid March anyway.

I haven't seen the forecast but I can well believe it, because I know somebody from Lithuania who said today it was -15C back home where she was going for a visit next week...none of that over here, I'm pleased to say - next week is meant to be +15C and sunny all the way

I haven't seen snow on the ground here in New Jersey for almost a month now! There might have been some snow on Leap Day, but it barely totaled out to anything, and all I saw when I looked outside was a little tiny bit of white which was barely visible.

Supposed to get up to 66 F here tomorrow.

Of course, back down to 44 F on Saturday though, but after that it's supposed to be close to 60 degrees through all of next week. Unless some freak snowstorm or cold snap comes, I think "winter" is pretty much over here. Not that we ever really had it anyway besides October.
