Buenos Aires keeps getting warmer day by day. A 17 celsius night today, and maximum today around 21 or 22 celsius, sunny. Warm night.
Im enjoying may, so far its sunny and temps are wonderful. I wouldnt mind if it gets colder either. So far days are being completely sunny with completely clear bright blue skies.

Had a quick T-storm last night, but yet again it's the same old overcast and rain. This May is quickly turning into a repeat of May 2011, when Melbourne average a horrifying 2.7 hours of sunshine per day

Im loving those temps, but they are way warmer than what i like in May, they are spring like or even summer like if you are in england for example . Anyways...warm May.

Completely overcast today with light to moderate rain all day, had a minimum before 9am of 18.6C today temperature barely moved with a maximum of 20.6C, hopefully the rain ramps up even more overnight and we get some nice runoff into the dams.

My first day in Brisbane today (permanent move). Coming from Sydney which is now distinctly cool, it is like stepping back a couple of months into late summer/early autumn. I cannot complain about this forecast either:
Brisbane Forecast
Actually I have never experienced this degree of warmth in early May (equivalent of early November for the northern hemisphere contingent)

Beautiful! I imagine this would be about my favorite time of the year in Brisbane.

Indeed. A few locals have remarked it is a nice time of year as well given the wet season has (largely) moved on.
Was wandering around in t-shirt and shorts tonight in the busy nocturnal suburb of West End (loads of restaurants and bars). Spot the non acclimatized person though - most others were wearing jeans and shirts

2.7 hours per day? On an annualized basis that's 986 hours, so that is a low total. It seems you weren't exaggerating the horror this time. Of course given the same sky cover it would probably be a bit higher than that if it continued all year due to May having short days, but that certainly is cloudy, and to you horrifying.
3 hours of sun per day seems like plenty enough to me, but I'm not solar-charged like some people here .
