Human beings are obviously adapted to different climates. New Worlders of Northwestern European descent live in climates their bodies are not adapted to such as hot and humid parts of the American South or most of Australia. It's interesting how Scandinavian-Americans live in northern US which has a climate similar to inner Scandinavia.
Can we generally say which climate is optimal for human beings? Is it room temperature? The Köppen climate classification of the world is the most widely used system.
Wow, I don't know. It is funny how some of the members here love the cold and hate the heat. Then there are those of us who are the total opposite. I've often been confused by it cause we all have the same body temp so we should all like the same outside temps.

40 feels cold to me like it does to you. I just enjoy feeling cold more than hot
Oh, gosh...fahrenheit. 40 celsius is like 100 degrees! Besides, you're in Houston so you should figure what I mean And I don't care if the metric system makes more sense. I'm used to our stupid system in America. I know it makes no sense but it's what we know.
I read somewhere that the human body functions best at 68 to 72 degrees F, which I tend to believe. I run cold, so I'd pick 75 to 85 degrees as my perfect temperature zone.
winter: average high around -10, average low -30 to -50
spring: average high around 40 average low 10-30
summer: average high around 90 average low 65-70
fall: average high 35-45 average low 5-20
90-95% of my ancestors were native to (northern) climates I can not (fully) adapt too.
