Nowhere in France gets an A from me. Not even a B, I like marked seasons. The best climate would be in the east, maybe Strasbourg or Mulhouse. They get a summer that would more or less suit me, even if it's on the cool side, but winters there are definitely too weak. Plus these locations are too dry, about the same as Paris. That's why central Alsace, which is somewhat in the rainshadow of the Vosges mountains, is inferior to me.
The other option would be to go up a bit in the Jura highlands. There they get decent winters with occasional severe cold in the valleys. But summers are very cool and summer nights in a valley there must be rarely above 15°C.

Really only sections of coastal California. Southern California is too dry. So anywhere Monterrey and further north that gets decent summers. Parts of the Bay Area, especially North Bay and the Sonoma Valley.

Monterey and the immediate coast of Northern/Central Cal are too foggy and windy in the summer. Head a bit inland to the valleys of the Bay Area and you are spot on.

Anyway, nowhere in Australia is suitable for me because nowhere has the true four season climate. Only Canada offers what I truly want in a climate.
What about New Zeland, south island ?

Some parts of coastal Washington and Oregon would probably be A worthy as well.
You are right in there with me.! I would also ad the Keni, even Anchorage. In the lower US, no doubt Marquette, Mi for sure. Never gets very cold and low humidity. I know, most people don't believe me. Come check it out and see!

My ideal climate.

Even some parts of Southern California too, inland enough to have hot summers, however the lack of precipitation is a minus.
