They are not so much cold nights, but what I would call "crisp" nights.
I have been there numerous times when I lived in WA, mainly during autumn or spring, and it was glorious.
The fact that nights stay below 15C - even in the hottest month - means that at night I sleep like a baby.
Busselton is excellent too, but is more prone to hotter summer days.

Terrace, BC comes VERY close. Probably an A or A+.

My perfect climate would probably be in upstate New York or southern Ontario.

But yes, there are places on earth I'd love to live in.

London, Ontario for example, summers a tad too warm for my liking, but it has four distinct seasons, high levels of precipitation, enough snowfall in winter, and thunderstorms in summer - perfection.
I think that's probably more or less my ideal climate as well.

What does Phoenix have that Australia doesn't? Isn't half of Australia like Phoenix's climate?

why are you so incosistent, when it comes to your dream climate?... Some days ago, you said it was snowing in your dream climate in late September... and you did that on several days... but now you're posting a climate, which has probably never seen any snow in September and you nontheless say it comes very close to your dream climate... doesn't make sense, does is?

Western NC or Eastern TN Climate would be perfect for me. Cool Nights play an important factor.

Eastern TN averaged lows around the upper 30's F (2-4 C) in MAY when I visited, a real achievement for being so far down south .

People like that have a subconscious favorite climate, IMO. I don't know what his climate preferences are, but if what you say is true and based on his rating for Terrace, BC, he probably likes a borderline Dfb/Dfc climate?
