It got up to 93 here today, sigh. I hope rain is coming tomorrow. Everything is thirsty and showing it. I have seen more dead trees in yards this summer, it is scary.
Great photos!

UNSEASONABLY WARM TEMPERATURES CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEKEND.......
High pressure centered in the northeast continues to dominate our weather. As a result, temperatures across the area continue to peak 5 to 8 degrees above the normal. Only isolated showers popped up over a few of our east-central counties but they should dissipate before sunset. The weekend looks mostly dry and unseasonably warm with highs peaking near or slightly above 90 degrees. On Monday a cool front is forecast to move into northwest Arkansas and this could result in a few showers during the afternoon and evening. The system should push into our area on Tuesday and therefore scattered showers will still be possible. Drier air will filter in behind the front Wednesday and temperatures should be slightly cooler. Rainfree conditions are expected to persist into the weekend with most highs in the mid 80's.
Above is a link to a video they had on my local news channel this morning. If you like autumn, it's kind of pretty.
Tara, those pics are SO pretty. I love the ones that have the reds in them. Unfortunately, some of our leaves have started to turn and it's been so windy that many of the colored ones have blown away. (Right onto our deck) Ours are still mostly green though and unlike Cop, I dread the day they'll die and all we'll have is sticks for trees.
I'm loving today. It is 91 degrees here right now. If we didn't have 30 mph winds, it'd be just perfect.
Your time is coming. The high here today was 42. And drizziling rain. Let's see, if I remember correctly, our weather goes where when it leaves here?
Today was a humid 84, ugh...Next week looks to be highs near 80 and lows in the mid 50s. Finally, some average weather! It doesn't have to get cold yet, but please, average!
Wow do I envy some of you guys!!! I'm also hoping that some of you get the much needed rain this weekend. It still looks promising for you.
YESTERDAY~I loved it. We hit 91 and that tied our old record set back in 1958. BUT right now it is 48 with a windchill of 43 and our high is supposed to be 59. These fluctuations wreak havoc on me.
Beautiful pics, Tara....and yes, we're finally getting 'average' weather by Tuesday...lows in the upper 50s to highs in the lower 80s..thank goodness because this has been a miserably warm to hot autumn so far...
BRRRR~my temps were down in the 30s this morning. The high today is supposed to be 56 and the average high is actually 66 so I'm feeling a bit chilled today. Wish I could send some of this coolness down to those of you who are wanting some relief from the heat.

Yeah, I'd take a little! We were 61 here in the Dallas area this morning. Supposed to be getting up to about 86 today. That's getting a little better...
At least, it felt good this morning!
low 51; current 85. wind north 13 and gusty we're getting there.
