I'm just thinking how much I hate weather changes because I get sore throats and runny noses, so I thought of this question.
It doesn't have to be a city, but which area has the most unpredictable weather?
And what I mean by that is, it could be like California one day, warm and sunny, and the next day it's like frigid cold Chicago, and the next day it could be a steambath like Florida, or windy Wyoming, etc.
The Great Plains and the Midwest are among places with the most unpredictable weather in the United States.........
I'll go with this one, too.
I'm not as familiar with the Great Plains but the Midwest has some very unpredictable weather from my experiences living/traveling there!
When I lived in Michigan we had a day where we experienced it going up to 60F in December, dropping to 45F and then a sudden hailstorm/thunderstorm. After that stopped, there were tornados in the area. That night, it dropped to 28F and there was a rare snowstorm that dumped 14" of snow...lol. Just crazy because it did all of this in one day I've never seen weather like that outside of the Midwest.
Definitely. It's just ridiculous weather, but good winters at the same time. It's forecast is for a high of 17°C (63°F) on Wednesday, followed by just -5°C (23°F) on Thursday, which is incomprehensible
Within the space of 5 days, Denver is set to record greater than the whole range of December maximum temperatures recorded where I live since 1973!

The same thing could be said of indiana’s Weather, the saying “if you don’t like Indiana’s weather, wait five minutes and it will change” definitely does have more or less merit to it, as Indiana weather is anything BUT consistent.......
FiveThirtyEight analysed this. Their verdict was Rapid City, South Dakota. (Honolulu was the city with the most predictable weather). There are a lot of other interesting tidbits in the article, so I'd recommend reading the whole thing.
Yes, the Great Plains and western Midwest is probably correct.
For Denver, in January it can be 9/-6 clear, 20/3 cloudy and windy, -2/-10 snowy, or -15/-20 clear, depending on the prevailing air currents.
In June it can be 30/15 partly cloudy with afternoon thunderstorms, 35/20 clear, or 17/10 overcast and rainy.
And the afternoon thunderstorms here are quite unpredictable, one place may get no rain at all while 1km away there could be >1cm of rain. So many distinct patterns can arise from the wind directions.
