New CPC map. Since normals are 20s,30s & 40s now, seeing blues like this in the winter is worth noting.

While I'm watching the news, seeing reports of floods all over the country, I'm sitting here thinking 'what is all the fuss about?'. Rainfall here is slightly below average this month, so far, and there hasn't been a single flood all year. Maybe I'm just lucky?

Well rainfall for December has gone above average here at 160mm and counting.

1520mm of rain and counting this year, what a disgustingly wet, cold and cloudy year it's been. Worst I can remember and by far the most boring too.

It's snowing!!! ON THE NIGHT OF CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally a white Christmas, it's been like 10 years!!! It's not an all-out blizzard or anything, but at least it's enough to accumulate and make the ground look white (1-2 inches). About time.
