I've seen thunder/lightning during a wet Spring snowfall, pretty amazing but those shots are incredible, haven't seen anything close to those!

Cold here tonight, winds nowhere close to last night, with colder temps a good thing! We've had some amazing waves on the lake close to shore. Can't wait to see tomorrow if there are any cool ice formations!

Well, it was going to happen eventually. The coldest air in 2 years is on its way. Below freezing every day from tomorrow to next Monday. Only 21 F high on Tuesday and Wednesday. Brrrrr!!!! Well I was calling for this to happen for a few months so I can't say I'm surprised. The mild weather was fun while it lasted, but here comes winter (temperature wise, we've already had some snow). Hopefully this cold air won't last TOO long, although 7 days is pretty dang long.

More heavy snow overnight and this morning, a few more inches on top of the snow we already had. Today marks the 8th day of consecutive snow cover.

2 at the moment, blue skies, sunshine, windy but not gusting. Cold snap through tomorrow, Wed. warmer. Of course, warm is a relative term in January!

About a foot of light fluffy snow overnight and into this morning here. We're just outside of Erie on the west side. This is only the second significant snow we've had this season, the other was around Christmas. Forecast shows some snow everyday for the next 5 days.
