And the interesting becomes interesting. Pattern favors interest. Now its a matter of it happening.

And Euro now 7 in a row. GFS caught on. DGEX has it. CMC has it.

All started exiting at North Carolina but since there is so much blocking this thing has trended north.

Which means points north of Virginia is in the game for snow now. Wenesday-Thursday time frame.

Latest Euro has 6-12 inches. But since we're still so far out, Once the system enters the west, we'll know more. (by sunday)

Default Snow In Florida in March?

Screaming with interest. I feel like DeJaVu from October. While I for one dont think Florida will see any flakes, its the weather, and none of us know.

Good write up on this weekends snowflake potential in Florida

Could it snow in Tampa, Florida this weekend?

Big jet stream dip simulated by GFS model Sunday (StormVistaWxModels.com) The jet stream promises to take a huge dip this weekend, with cold air plunging deep into the Sunshine State of Florida. Since last weekend, the GFS weather model has hinted a little light precipitation might team up with the incoming stream of arctic air. There’s a very small chance this combination could squeeze out a few rare snowflakes along Florida’s central west coast Sunday morning.

How it could happen

A huge blizzard is forecasted to start tomorrow afternoon, bringing lots of snow and much colder temps. I can't wait, it's been a while since the last one.

Would be interesting if some flakes fly down in Florida. Last March snowfall in Florida was 20 years ago (1993).

BBC News - Record snowfall in northern Japan

A phenomenal 5.61 metres (16ft) of snow has fallen this winter in a small town in northern Japan, an area which is hardly a stranger to heavy snowfall. Meanwhile, the nearby city of Aomori has had 1.5 metres of the white stuff. According to the BBC report, this breaks Japan's national snowfall records.
Never too much snow?
