I always like to see SST's its a part of the climate picture we never look at as much as the current weather. It shows 12 - 13 C temps off Ireland - how much below normal is that? It seems fairly warm for your latitude.
Thought you would find it interesting to take a look at SST farther south off the Atlantic coast of the USA. SSt are between 20 C (68 F) and 28 C (83 F) along the East Coast between northern Florida and NYC/Long Island, and drop to less than 17 C (63 F) down to near 12 C (54 F) in the higher latitudes from Massachusetts (Boston) north to Canada. I was at the beach in the water this past weekend at a place called Island Beach State Park, NJ. The SSt was around 20/21 C (71 F), still a bit too cool for me:
Well the sea temps off ireland are considerably warmer than where I live. I don't think the sea temps out there change much. Like I think in the summer they rise to 13c and then fall to about 10c in the winter which is really warm for our latitude.
We aren't that warm though because it gets down to 6c where I live and I believe labrador is about -1c.
I think we will finally break out of this pattern. At least the models think so.
NCEP 45 day outlook on cfsv2 is wrong, but compare this model run to where the heat was for the same period last year
A closer look, this week last July, temps reached 43C/109F in the Chicago area
Unfortunately the Euro is also calling for a cool July here

Long Range Forecast Model Update
July 02, 2013; 9:18 AM
This is my latest interpretation of the ECMWF weekly long range model output through the week of July 22 to 28.
Salt Lake City had a calendar day minimum of 80° on Sunday, June 30th, tying for its warmest such with July 16, 2003. Likewise, Las Vegas had a minimum of 95° on July 1st, tied with its other hottest night on record of July 19, 2005.

Very impressive indeed, considering Salt Lake City is 4000'+ and Las Vegas is at 2000'. This sort of thing gets my curiosity going about the effects of altitude in itself on a climate compared to altitude relative to a place's surroundings.
Confirmed EF0 in NJ. EF1 in CT. Microburst in Yonkers, NY. Microburst in Agawam, MA
Now they are surveying another area in SW CT to see if it was Straight Line Winds or Tornadic damage. I believe either Greenwich, Ridgefield, Wilton or Danbury or all towns since there were reports of trees down and power outages.
