THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THAT SWEPT THROUGH SOUTHWESTERN MONTANA ON
AUGUST 1 2013 ESTABLISHED NEW HIGH GUST RECORDS IN MADISON AND
BEAVERHEAD COUNTIES. IN MADISON COUNTY, THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO
90 MPH OCCURRED AT THE TWIN BRIDGES AIRPORT. THIS EXCEEDED THE
PREVIOUS HIGH GUST OF 86 MPH AT THE BURNT CREEK RAWS SOUTH OF
CAMERON ON FEBRUARY 22 2012. IN BEAVERHEAD COUNTY, GUSTS REACHED 104
MPH AT A HOME WEATHER STATION NEAR POLARIS. THIS EXCEEDED THE
PREVIOUS EXTREME GUST IN THE COUNTY OF 86 MPH AT DILLON ON JUNE 3
1959.

THE 104 MPH GUST AT POLARIS IS THE HIGHEST MEASURED GUST OF RECORD
IN AUGUST IN MONTANA. THE PREVIOUSLY RECORDS WERE 100 MPH AT JOPLIN
ON AUGUST 24 1953 AND IN NORTHERN BLAINE COUNTY ON AUGUST 10 1957.
THERE ARE HIGHER ESTIMATED GUSTS FOR AUGUST, BUT NO HIGHER MEASURED
GUSTS. THE HIGHEST MEASURED GUST IN MONTANA FROM A SUMMER
THUNDERSTORM IS 140 MPH AT THE OLD HAVRE RADAR STATION IN JULY 1957.

THE LOWEST MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE AT MIAMI FOR THE MONTH OF JULY IS
77 DEGREES, SET ON JULY 19, 1972.

Just use google to convert it sugar pie.

Record 469 mm for July 2013 beating the old record of 334 mm set in July 2000.

If there's 2.54cm to every inch, then that means there's 25.4mm for every inch.
