Normal High temp for Birmingham Alabama in the south is 91....they didn't pass 73F today so they tied the coolest maximum temperature on record for today.

We maxed out at 67 degrees yesterday (at midnight and again around 6 pm), which breaks the record for the coldest max for that date, although I don't know if that's for the whole month of August or not. The CAD (cold air damming) is still holding strong, with a good chance of afternoon rain - if we're real lucky, maybe we can hold maxes below the 67 degrees we had yesterday - wish me luck!

(current temp is 61, pretty impressive min as well)

Check this out.. I know some of you will find this interesting...

Wilton and Hartford Forecast till Wednesday from NWS.

Low to mid 80s forecasted for here in SWCT with dewpoints staying in the 60s.. I can definetly live with that.... However, go inland towards Hartford it's a different story. 90 possible!

I'm learning living near the coast is a love/hate relationship. The love part is coming up this week. LOL

Where the Polar Jet and SubTropical Jet meet up = Boom (big winter storm). Nice to see them both on the map at least. Hoping it continues.

It's noon and 63 degrees in Atlanta - what the heck, I didn't even think that was possible for August!
