Just a follow-up on my comment before about March being warmer than Feb - this March, if the forecasts stay as they are, could end up being hotter either Dec, Jan and certainly Feb.

Default Weather by zip code.....

Hi Jammie,

Trying to find a weather web site I used to use about 6 months ago that would give you an up to the minute report or an annual comparrison of any 2 places in the country by zip code. It also included temperatures and rainfall.
What web sites are you using and could you let me know.

Thanks much,

Silverfox

National and Local Weather Forecast, Radar, Map and Report

This is the site that I use.

Climatology Comparison for Rapid City, SD - weather.com

This is a comparison from that same site. If you click on "Averages", it will take you to the second page. Toward the top on the left-hand side, you can click on "Comparisons" and you can put in the different cities you're looking for. Is that the site you're looking for?

Rapid City, South Dakota:

107 and -29
I think I've seen it get hotter than 107 a few times at least.
Nearby Spearfish has the world record for quickest temperature change.
It changed some 45 degrees with a few minutes!

I couldn't figure out how to do this without having an area already in there. But just in case you don't know the exact numbers for your area, this site will give them to you.

International Falls isn't my area, but that's what is in there right at the moment.

I live in southeastern So. Dak. and the record high for my town was set in 1940. The high is 116.

The record low for my town was set in 1955 (YAY~my birth year). It was -50. That's without windchill, of course.

So what are the records for everyone else?
oh what a fun one. heres one from hell umm i mean mesa, az

The highest recorded temperature was 125°F in 1990.

The lowest recorded temperature was 15°F in 1950.
