We're at about 60 hours to the 16th. The main reason for such a low number is the thick fog that's been covering the sun for the last three days, even though we've had no precipitation so far this month.

Interesting. Zagreb is the opposite. We've had a gloomier than average year (mostly because of February and March) and this December is already well above average.
Let's see what Tallinn has had, guess we are pretty close to their tally.
... 18.1 hours to the 16th.
C'mon, pick up your phone and ask the FMI right away about Turku's sunshine.

That "French high" we just had sure helped. None of the cloudy mess under westerlies just north of it. Surprised that the sunniest spot aside from the Channel Islands is below 30 hours though. Sounds like another world. Then again, nearby Rouen has only had about half of Orly's sunshine, with 43.3 hours so far. I'm still wondering what caused the sunny weather, as high pressure in December usually means days on end of stratus clouds.
Though London and Leeds got almost twice as much sun as Paris in November, it was time for things to balance out!

It costs to phone them! I'm gonna ask during the end of the year to get the whole year's tally. The only thing that is interesting anymore is that are we gonna hit 2100 hours this year.
