Yes but in a head to head comparison, they do badly. Remember the Dublin vs Boston poll?

The results are rather odd. The plurality gave it a B but there are no A's.

Dublin has much less sunshine and winters that are chilly rather than mild. Seems like the cooler mild climates don't do as well as the warmer ones against ones with a similar annual average but more range.
