I thought I'd do the opposite of the thread I made yesterday. Which do you prefer? I'll take a Miami summer, gotta love the monsoon and ocean!

Winter in San Diego is the wet season, with average daytime temperatures in the 60sF, and nighttime lows in the 40sF. Miami's summers are also the wet season, with daytime highs being around 90F, nighttime lows near 80F, and humid weather with constant thunderstorms due to the nearby warm clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

Easy choice, SD winters. 65 - 70 F highs and mostly sunny vs. 90+ F highs with lows not much lower and oppressive humidity?

I like heat in theory, but my body doesn't follow suit anymore, so I must vote for the balmy San Diego winters, the best to be in good health at my age (58)!

Miami summers just for all those thunderstorms but running the AC is an absolute must along with a generator to run AC in a power outage.

Miami summers. San Diego WINTERS are awful for that time of year - WINTER is supposed to be cold and have at least some snow. Miami SUMMERS, while hot and stifling, are very suitable for the time of year. SUMMER is supposed to be hot, which Miami's is, in addition to the thunderstorms that make things all the more interesting.
