I pasted a couple of tid bits from it.. For those wondering how they measure read paragraph 3 here.
But paragraph 2 is absolute key in possible errors!

A Big Picture Look At

"It appears that a significant decline in temperatures occurred during the last 17 months"

"The surface temperature record is burdened with issues of questionable siting, changes in siting, changes in equipment, changes in the number of measurement locations, modeling to fill in gaps in measurement locations, corrections to account for missing, erroneous or biased measurements, and the urban heat island effect"

What's not mentioned is the recent inactive sun. This has been a cause for recent flattening of temperatures and, in the case of the Pacific Northwest, a rather anamolous decline.

Now that Mr. Sun is kicking his heels up a bit and now that we are approaching a more active phase I expect we will see more continuing warmth and a continuing rise in global temperatures.

(Whether that will extend to my unfortunate corner of the world is hard to say. With a strongly negative PDO entrenched for the next 10 to 20 years, I rather think it won't, at least not right away.)
