It almost feels like fall here with the massive number of leaves all over the ground from the hailstorm, except the leaves are green, lol.

This photo is from the news media from Cumberland County. They got it even worse than we did from the look of the accumulation:

Bad effects on local farms from that hailstorm. Farm vehicles with windows broken out practically around the corner from me.

I re-posted this in the Farm Crop Damage Thread I started. Thanks. I fear hail for that one reason...there's just no saving the crops...unless you put a heavy heavy tarp or plywood over them.

Sao Paulo, Brazil hailstorm. Insane. I think I read 8 inches of it! Drifts went up to car bumpers in spots.

^ Thanks for reposting. Those pictures from Sao Paulo are awesome . Those hailstones looks pretty small, so hopefully no damage with that one. That's the best kind of hailstorm. Must have been fun.

I didn't think the hailstorm here cracked any windows, despite hailstones of well over an inch in thickness. I rode my bike all around the place Thursday evening and really only saw lots of downed leaves and tree branches, but no cracked car windows, though I guess smaller cracks were possible that are not as easily visible. I just got home and saw a glass repairman's truck at a neighbor's house working on his pickup truck. No coincidence--I bet that was from the storm. I protected the front windshield of my hatchback, which was the only glass I was concerned about.

Gotta love hail storms that make it look like winter but feel like summer. There is a "cold" pool aloft that's helping cause the hail

In Calgary right now.
