Polar, tundra, tropic with above 10000ft because have perpetual winters
Oceanic also. No summer at all
I like tropics, 5-30 latitude, 5-30 degrees east of timezone meridian, no DST, 1000-2000 mm rain, 100-200 prec. days, 22-32 C high, 12-24 low, 60-90 humidity, 1600-3200 sunshine.
I meant no summer = no warm enough days. Or in other words, no real summer. Average high of 20-25C? Barely gets above 25C? It's like our low. I can wear jacket at 20C and no sweat.
Thats what i define summer = 3-4 cons. 90F days or 7-10 cons. 30C days.

Pure horror with summer averages of 33C/25C, with undoubtly high humidity as well. And 12 months a year of this crap? No, give me a dry 25C summer day any time.

I actually feels hot and sweating at 90F. My ideal climate would be like 3-6 deg C (5-10 deg F) colder, or 1500-3000 (450-900 m) above sea level, in the tropics. Bandung in West Java (6.9S 107.6E, 750m/2500ft) matches the criteria.
Normally the UK has a fairly interesting climate with any weather possible at any time of the year.
However, in recent years between May - September it's the same bloody typical monotonous seasonal northern blocking and southern jetstream with the "stuck trough" and screaming northerly induced incontinent stratocrap clouds with drizzle, week on week on week on week. Meanwhile people on the UK weather forums can only speculate at the "tentative sign" of a day or two of settled weather between these months, said settled weather being less likely than winning the £154,000,000 EuroMillions jackpot in the last 5 years onwards. Frankly it's effun boring and storms stopped occurring full stop a couple years back, and the pressure seems loathe to exceed 1015mb or so for more than 10 minutes in any summer months these days. Lame and boring.
Dunno what the weather's been like in Buxton, but summer 2013 and 2014 where averagely nice overall... But I know what you mean, 2007-2012 were pretty poor summers!

Haha, if you think divisionbyzero0 idea of summer is hell then take a look at my idea of summer.
35 consecutive days above 32(90)
75 consecutive days above 30(86)
Cause I'd like a bit of wind so I can surf!
As for the British climate, it's been mostly, though unseasonably, cloudy all this September and I am as board with this climate as watching paint dry! I live in the wrong climate! Should'av been born an Aussie!!
