So here goes. I've heard that if you live in an area such as SW MN or Iowa (these are just example areas-I know lots of areas in the US can fall into this catagory) that the relative humidity cad be bad due to so many crops but also heard that it's really just the corn that makes it so bad. I've looked around online but haven't really gotten any good answers.

I know there was a word to describe the event but I can't remember or find it. Help please.

It was something like exo transpiration but my googling isn't find anything helpful.

I think the word/term you might be looking for is evapotranspiration.
