I’m not even exactly sure what I’m allergic to but I know my allergies are basically non existent here in western Washington. It was one of the best things for me about moving here. Everywhere I have lived on the east coast I have terrible allergies and pretty much have to take allergy medicine constantly there. Here I take nothing it’s like they don’t exist. It was such a life changer.
I generally prefer Cfb to Cfa/Dfa climates, but London is a bit too dry and cloudy for my taste, and I would prefer something a touch more continental (like Nancy or Dijon, France) to London. I would still narrowly choose London for the milder summers.
New York City has a very good climate; between the solidly B-grade temperatures and nail on the head ideal precipitation, it is among the best climates of any major world city. London is too oceanic and gloomy, as well as being too dry.
Note that London's grade was calculated using the Heathrow station and NYC's was calculated using the Belvedere Castle, Central Park station.
