Definitely. Two or more consecutive days of cold and cloudy conditions and I'd rather be somewhere else!

Nevermind cold and cloudy,
cool and partly-cloudy with a breeze makes me cranky.
(ex: 17 C/63 F, 5/8 okta cloud cover and 20 km/h+/12 mph+ winds)
I'm much better suited to a climate like Townsville, which seldom feels hot or cold to me.
I dislike when the temperature of the sunshine feels cooler than body-temperature.

I like cloudy and rainy weather, would rather the cloud mainly stay away when it's dry but I wouldn't say I get cranky by long stretches of cloudy weather either.

Yes it does. Clouds are incredibly pointless unless they're part of a big thunderstorm buildup. Otherwise they're just making the landscape grey, ugly, depressing, devoid of any vivid colours, of any life. Horrible. Cold weather below 13°C is also pointless (aside from the occasional snow @ -2°C); 13-20°C being occasionally nice and refreshing. The combination of both yields the crappiest weather known to man AKA the United Kingdom. I guess Weatherfan can confirm that (not even talking about Iceland, Greenland and other similar hellholes)

So what? I gave the best possible answer to the question that was asked in the original post. Anyone that has a problem with that should not have decided to participate in this forum, since what I did is considered absolutely proper on this website.

How do you guys tolerate and deal with cloud?

Clouds don't bother me at all. I can deal with sub 2000 hours of sun a year. As long as the night sky is clear, I don't care (I'm an aspiring amateur astronomer as well but sans telescope anymore)

Cold and cloudy conditions can be a pesky nuisance, or a blessing, depending on what
I'm doing. Back when I was breaking out (a logging term, not zits, or jail), I loved cloudy days, couldn't get enough of them.
Now days I'm more inclined towards sunny days, although a bit of midday cloud on summer days with high glare doesn't bother me. The last 2 weeks have been mostly cloudy (a below average month coming up), it can be a bit demotivating, but not crankiness inducing.

It actually mellows me out.
The only kind of weather that makes me cranky would be hot and humid (anything above 70 with humidity or high dew points), excessive wind, or heat above 80-85 whether it's humid or not. Really low humidity in that low 80's range is tolerable for me from time to time.
40's and 50's is ideal for most anything. Lower temps than that don't phase me at all, but I may not hang out at the beach and play volleyball in it.
