I don't think most people would have any idea whatsoever how many sunshine hours we get - it just isn't ever mentioned much and people likely have no idea what a 'par' score is. Although I was aware of the statistics and knew even places in Scandinavia had warmer summers, I still thought our climate with its chilly, overcast summers was normal until I was about 19 and started travelling elsewhere. I still can't really relate to the experiences of people living in extreme climates.

No, I think they'd be gobsmacked to learn that we actually got those figures to be honest.

Lies about the Depression, you don't live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, we do get affected by the cloud trust me. It is very depressing, it definitely affects my mood.

Maybe people there are depressed for different reasons.. sunshine hours are generally the same here in inland northern England as they are up there, and nobody I know is depressed.

What is that smiley for? Do you have nothing better to say? Lack the intellectual capability?

In other words, you have nothing more constructive to say because you are not making sense, and you don't really know what point you're trying to make.
