Lubumbashi has some interesting patterns and nice temps yeararound. As a place to live, it sounds awful

San Diego for sunshine and lower rainfall. Easy.

Lubumbashi. I've often regarded San Diego as a model of climatic perfection. But I have to say Lubumbashi looks like a much more interesting climate while still offering comfortable temps. Sunshine is around 2800 hrs from one source. Probably also quite thunder prone.

BA for me. Good temps and rainfall. Plenty of thunder as well, I would think.

San Diego has perfect temps, but the whole dry season thing, spoils it.

Lubumbashi looks very nice apart from 2 rainless months.

Interesting, just last week I was looking at this area of Africa and came across Lubumbashi. It looks very comfortable and has a more interesting precipitation pattern than the other two choices. Temps are good. Buenos Aires' winters aren't really cold enough to deal with the horrible summers there.
