After looking at the post of the coldest winter pics, I was so homesick for the change of seasons!! But, being in Florida for a while longer does have its pluses, especially with another winter approaching. I always miss the cold and the pretty aspect of the snow, but of course am fine with no having to deal with it on a daily basis.

Here's a photo taken last winter about 10 minutes from my house.

Tropical-living folks - post your photos for the snowbound...a reminder that summer will come again!!!

Nice picture!

Summer's been gone a week or two and I'm already looking forward to next spring. Only 5-6 months away.

Sorry no snow pics at the moment.
How do you load pics onto a city-data thread?

Well, ColdCanadian, I'm probably not the one to ask - LOL - as the one I posted is showing up, at least on my computer, as a thumbnail. I wanted it to be full-size in the body of the message...don't know why it's not

Anywho - the way I did it was to go down to that area under the box where you type in your message (I think you have to be in the "advanced" screen), and there's a section that says attach files, and you click on the Manage Attachments button, and just upload from there.

Hey, if you figure out the thumbnail situation, let me know!!

What a beautiful pic, Mountains. It worked fine for me. I just had to click on the pic and it enlarged to a gorgeous beach. Now that's my kind of scenery. THIRTEEN more days and I'll be there. If I end up taking any nice pics, I'll surely post them on this thread.

Yes, do post them!

I was just out there yesterday afternoon...it is SO gorgeous...but I sorely miss the cool autumn days and changing leaves. Guess I need to take a break and go North, huh??!

Great pic mountains! I could use a trip or two every winter to a place like that. The worst thing about winter is my feet get cold. I could really enjoy running my toes through that white sand a couple of times during the winter.

Yes a vacation would be a perfect way to experience fall...

If it was near the Great Lakes, the first week you'd probably love it,
the second would still not be too bad,
but by the third you'd probably be longing to return home,
or at least somewhere 70 F-plus and sunny.

Wait, are you wanting pictures of snowy winters, or tropical "winters"?

I think the OP is asking for winter pics from people who have sub-tropical winters. It'd be something to keep the Northerners warm.

There is another thread for autumn pics if you live in an area that has real autumn and winter.
