What are the best cities with water (river, lake, sea) to live in if one has asthma/allergies? I am looking for cities with at least 1 million population and somewhere I can get an IT programming job.
We moved to the Tampa Bay, FL area (Bradenton) over 8 years ago. My daughter and I both have asthma, and we do really well here. I use a preventative inhaler, one puff/day, and haven't had any wheezing for months (since I last caught a cold). We are very close to the beach, so get the gulf breeze, which keeps the air pretty clean. People living here work from Tampa, to St. Pete, to Sarasota - so it also fits your pop. criterion. And it's now a real estate buyers market!!
