Latest forecast says no due to mild temps from Saturday onwards and no forecasted precipitation, but then again, January tends to be when winter happens here
I've been wondering about something. Is there a way to calculate how fast snow and ice will melt? There should be a website calculator where you input snow density and thickness, and then you see how fast it will melt at X temperatures.
Either way, do you think 2cm of snow cover will melt in time with these temperatures?
I wish I could be either in Florida or Hawaii for Xmas where I could have an Xmas day in the 70s or 80s F and lounge by the pool... even better after this cold snap we are having with temps in the 20s and snow Yuck.. White Christmases are highly overrated! Oh well I am going to be in Las Vegas for New Years and while not nearly as warm as I like at least it will be sunny and much warmer than here
Nope. I've only experienced 1 or maybe 2 in my lifetime, a mild 60F+ Christmas is more likely lol.
