Wintery crap back in the forecast for the forseeable future. Looks like Gay could start cold, with anti-cyclonic gloom, drizzle and northerlies.

LOL. Buxton yes but Melbourne could be described similarly in all likelihood.

From the forecasts I've found it looks like temperatures between 5-13C for the next 10 days with alternating periods of drizzly and partly cloudy weather. Sounds pleasant to me, but I can understand why someone else wouldn't like it.

Haha Here it's back to winter again, although briefly. Lows of around 0-5°C the next few days here, with highs in the mid 10s

"As the days lengthen, the cold strengthens" is in force today. The blue on the map has expanded and there's more pink and light blue. The only spots of morning warmth today are the Desert Southwest and Florida.

Amazing how that map looks more like February than mid April

It's a disgrace for late April. That said here in Buxton we had a colder night last night than 95% of those places.

A 5c low is not cold. It was 2c last night which is comparably mild compared to recent times.
