About 40 miles north of Helmintoller lies a scenic waterfall. It's at higher elevation so it is a bit chillier.

Way too hot in summer and somewhat too cold in winter. I also don't like 90F in the middle of winter under any circumstances (or -91F for that matter). I like the snowfall figure and the precipitation amount is acceptable. Another positive is that the climate certainly offers variety in weather. I think I'll rate it a B-, closely bordering on a C+, which is unusually generous for a climate with hot summers.

By the way, I think that the January record high is about the biggest departure from average I've ever seen in a fictional climate. The monthly record is 91F above average.

The Koeppen classification for this climate is Dfa, or Warm Summer Humid Continental. The Trewartha classification is DCa, which corresponds to the Koeppen classification. The Holdridge Life Zone for this climate is a cool temperate wet forest.

The old record was 59 F; a sudden shot of tropical air on January 25, 2012 sent the record to 90 F. Some places farther north actually set an all time record high. IGTWTCITB broke its all time record by 13 F in the same heat wave - and that record broken dated to July 13, 1991.

I'll give it a B for being interesting. This is like Siberia on steroids. The 90F in January thing is very strange, even with your explanation of it.

Awesome! This is the first fictional climate to which I give an A (though not an A+; summers are too warm and winters could be colder).

****! Awesome heat wave in ... January?
