Florida. The actual St Petersburg has a diabolical climate.

What about Petersburg, Alaska?

Petersburg, Alaska - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Anyway, both climates are not of my tastes.

Awesome climate. Cool, but not frigid, wet, and gloomy. Summers are a little cooler than ideal, but I'll take them over what most of the US has to offer.

Too rainy and the winters are not cold enough. But I'd rather live there than deal with hot summers elsewhere. It must get a good bit of snow, too, so that's good, even if it likely gets too much winter rain as well.

St. Pete Florida has a nice climate, maybe a bit dry for my taste. The Russian one is an F.

I understand South Florida storms are a bit more spasmodic than Central Florida. Miami averages 73% sun in July while Tampa is 62%. But I wouldn't use May as an indicator of high summer weather for anywhere in Florida.

The Russian one is utter garbage and I'd get drunk all year if I lived there too.
Most people do that in Florida as well.

Florida. Warm beaches. St. Petersburg Russian "heat wave" still has too cool nearest SST
