Its faults are: lack of summer storms, lack of winter snowfall/prolonged cold weather. Summers are certainly very pleasant, but I prefer winter, obviously.

Its closer to a larger continent than I am closer to a smaller continent put it that way.

Also Caribou, is isolated but its only 2600 miles from me and there is Bangor aswell.

Interesting it seems snow and cold is more important to you 2 then. If I had to rate Victoria it would get a C just like London.

At least london has hottish weather in the summer.

I'd like to try it out but its probably too cold for me. Probably Bangor is about right.

I can cope with max temps of between 0 and -10c anything colder is too much.

Yes, but I do like breaks I couldn't cope with snow for 3 months constantly. I'd like sunshine too.

My dream climate is very snowy but the temperatures regulary gets above freezing (around every 7 to 10 days) Rain

Anchorage, AK looks like a good choice for the OP. Record high is 86F but I doubt it would get very many days at all above 75F. It has cold snowy winters too and is large enough that it probably has adequate public transit although thats just a guess on my part.
