Das Klima in Freiburg im Breisgau
Klima in Dublin

Dublin has much milder winters. Freiburg features a warmer summer.

Dublin for the much milder winters. You can grow many species of palm trees there.

This one is tougher. I think I'll go with Freiburg for better summers. Also, while the sunshine data isn't listed, it's probably safe to assume Freiburg has at least 200 hours more per year than Dublin. Dublin's climate is just too dull, and its summers too anemic for me to like.

Freiburg averages around 1800 - 2000 hrs (if it's a good year) of sunshine. But it's usually safe to expect 1800 hrs annually.

Dublin as well. The warmer winters seal the deal.

Freiburg, it at least has some semblance of a summer. I would get very depressed in Dublin, waiting for a summer that never comes.
