A bit too dry and rain in the wrong season. Temperatures are nice but would prefer a bit of a cooler winter.

B-

A climate very much like Miami, dry winters/rainier summers.

Pretty much same distance from equator as Miami too, just outside the tropics
but has a borderline tropic climate.
Slightly cooler summers than Miami too.

Solid D. It's odd how the highest record highs (by a long way) come in Spring when the average highs aren't that high.

I prefer Durban.

That is probably due to its "borderline" climate type. It has the characteristics of both humid subtropical (where spring is naturally still cooler than summer) and tropical savanna and tropical wet and dry climates, where the highest temperatures are often recorded in the "spring".

Take a look at Sao Paulo, an example of a humid subtropical with record highs occurring in early spring (September):

Temps are almost identical to Rio de Janeiro, but it's sunnier and less humid. Summer highs could be slightly lower, otherwise good.

B

Yes, I'm surprised at how cloudy some of these coastal Brazilian cities are.

A... an excellent climate, almost nothing to complain about though a tiny bit drier and warmer in winter than I prefer.
