A lovely 25 C today. Still 22 C at 2 AM thanks to the NW wind. But all good things have to end -- we're not expected to see over 15 C for over a week.
Sounds quite impressive for late April in C'ch.
24C today and it's starting to consistently feel a little cool now. Still will probably be the warmest April on record due to the very hot start to the month. Should get our first strong cold front for the season mid next week with 15-30mm expected.

So when does the rainy season in Perth start? In the middle of winter?

Usually get our first decent rains, late April/early May. The rainy season usually ramps up by late May and we can expect rain on about half of all days through to September.
Summer is back, today's high was 28°C and low was 15. It's 10pm now and still warm, we'll begin May with December normals. Cold air only after the first week.
26c now and the national weather service forecast says max will be around 28c until at least monday

25 C night? Could have been something like a 22 C night? I know my post came 5 days after yours, but I just couldn't help it.
I may be wrong though.
And yes, we've been having warmer than average weather lately, but we should not forget that we had had lower than average weather in early April and in March too. So, this warm spell was, in a way, predictable.
A nice spell of warm days over the last week, with most days between 22 - 25C/72-77F. Not much sun though, with the total for the month looking like being 25% below average.
Cooler temps by Thursday with some snow on the tops and frost by Friday.
Absolutely nothing special here, 18-20C with showers every day in the forecast while Perfffffffffffffffffffffff, Sydney, and the rest of the nation will see up to 26-27C.
But that's the cost of living in a gay subarctic climate bordered by the world's coldest ocean with full exposure to it
