Beijing is quite famous for the sand storms in springs.
What other cities have those? Dubai?

I don't think any sandstorms have happened for any cities in Canada.

Cairo certainly has dust and sandstorms; the traditional season is right about now, though during the past few years it's struck in February instead. They're mostly not that dramatic... More annoying than deadly. Al fresco dining is out.

I could be wrong, but I believe there were a couple instances back in the Dust Bowl years. Sadly I only have a couple second-hand reports from my grandparents.
