Santiago no doubt!
the summer lows are awesome!
I bet 30c + nights dont exist there!
And its very sunny as well
winters and rest of the year is similar as here
Santiago is a good climate, too bad the air quality is so poor
best part are the summer lows: i dont mind a 35c day if that night temp is gonna be 16c!
btw, just noticed someone edited the sun part of BA in wikipedia! Until last time ii checked in wikipedia, sunshine hours in BA were around 2500, and now they are down to 2374?? Someone edited it and changed it. Thats really weird, specially cause BA is very sunny, my guess would be around 2600. Having lived in a 1900 sunshine/hours place, i say the difference between BA and that place is greater in sunshine hours, and BA is close to have 2600 sunshine hours than 2370.
Also, other climate sites like ogimet, put BA just above 2500 sunshine hours, so i dont think this 2370 figure is reliable, tbh. BA is quite sunny!!! (id say 60% sunny, wich would match the 2500 figure other sites agree on).
I was just joking, i think Santiago is better than Buenos Aires in every aspect, not only the being drier: its more comfortable, its drier, and its sunnier!! (even if we take in count the 2550 real sunshine hours of BA, and not the 2370 wiki says). So for me is not contest.
The only people that could vote BA is the ones that enjoy hot afternoons or nights.
But if they like to sleep right and still get the hot day, then Santiago is also the way to go!
