Now that we're approaching mid-March, I imagine it's time to open this thread. Feel free to post vegetation updates as well as landscape or weather photos from your part of the northern hemisphere.

17C/62F was today's high. The first cumulonimbus clouds of the year were visible in the sky just before sunset.

Oh, I was wandering when this thread will open up. Shame weather like this won't be here next week, so no nice pictures... yet.
I would never say those pictures are from France.

Today was actually a mild 57F/14C day. But this has been most of March so far:

No 60s today, the high was a mere 29F.

The first actual storm this year, a sign that spring is coming. The rain will, however, turn to snow sometime tonight.
I apologize for the quality of the pictures.

I was in Paris the day you took those pics Rozenn (when it was 17C and sunny) - I loved it definitely a very mild day, warmer than any day in Nice in the past few months actually.

I'm glad I didn't linger around! Though -2C and snow is nice and I'm sure central Paris looked gorgeous in those conditions.

You got lucky! Though for some reason this year's warm spell felt underwhelming. Usually, the first balmy days feel warmer to me. I was probably expecting the same feeling than on that 24C day last March.
