Located at 44°N in North NuFakadamia is a small city of 80,000 people. The city is in the NW of the country, and has higher ground to the SW and flatter ground to the SE. It is in a lowland area, about 85ft above sea level.

It features a temperate climate with large temperature swings. Some notable cold snaps have occurred in winter, and some serious heatwaves in summer. Some cool nights have also been recorded in summer, but most nights are fairly warm and even 30°C lows have been recorded.

Thunderstorms happen on 40.6 days a year on average. Air frosts happen on 70.6 days a year on average.

C+, summers too warm is my biggest complaint regarding this climate, though sunshine is also too high and winters far too mild. Certainly tolerable though and never devoid of interest.

I give it a D. The winters are far too warm. Summers are too hot and humid. Sunshine hours are fine though. How much snow does this place get?

Not sure about the snow yet, haven't calculated it. But on average it's probably only a few centimeters a year. Maybe 2-3" is about it. In a few years though there have been some bigger falls maybe of 5-6".

Temperature averages seem fine (although the records lows are colder than anything I've experienced). Rainfall totals are good and I like the thunderstorms in moderation. I also like the fact that snow will probably fall a few times a year but not copious amounts that will require driving in it regularly or shoveling it. I give it a B+.

If there's that little snowfall, I'd bump my rank up to a C.

I like this. It vaguely resembles NYC but has warmer and shorter winters, not as muggy summers, and more sunshine. Avereges are moderate but the cold snaps/heat waves keep things interesting. A bit too many precipitation days in late fall and early winter for my liking though. A-.

Summers are too warm and it's too sunny. Not horrible though.
