Sunshine Hill sits at a 256 foot elevation at north latitude 48°40' in a partial rain shadow. It is a medium sized town surrounded by forest and lakes. A tame river meanders around the south-eastern outskirts. The climate features cold and snowy winters, and warm and relatively dry summers.

Spring and sometimes even summer will have thunderstorms that will last anywhere from an hour to a full day. Sometimes during the winter, a thundersnow event will crop up as well. Humidity is light over a vast majority of the year but can spike after a rainstorm or when cloud cover gets trapped over the area.

Sunshine Hill, despite its name, receives 2,365 sunshine hours per year on average.

It's ok, but the summer lows are a bit too cold and the precipitation in summer is too low. B

I give this one a solid B. B+ even. There actually isn't too much to complain about here, but I would cut the precipitation in half. It is a vast improvement over my current climate either way.

For a little trivia, this is a modified version of Friday Harbor, which I loosely based it off of. At first it much more closely resembled the real Friday Harbor, but hints of it are still present, especially in the precipitation department, and that it sits in a partial rain shadow. Also, the latitude I assigned Sunshine Hill is not all too far to the north of Friday Harbor's latitude. Approximately 10 miles difference.

B. Too warm in all seasons (especially summer nights) but I certainly wouldn't mind living there.
