I like some snow but Novosibirsk and Toronto are FAR too cold. London is ehh, if it wasn't so cloudy, so far north (low sun angle), and a little warmer + wetter it would be doable, it's miles better than Novosibirsk and Toronto though.
I agree with Novosibirsk being FAR too cold, it's winter stat look similar to Winnipeg.
But Toronto...not too sure about that Infamous92.
Toronto winters might be too cold for you in the mid-atlantic, LOL (IIRC you live in balmy NYC )
But nowhere near as cold as Novosibirsk, it's average novembers are colder than Toronto in january, yikes, too cold, for too long.
Novosibirsk ironically probably doesn't get tons of snow either, looks to be pretty dry climate, semi-arid.
Honolulu, great for a week vacation but not for an entire winter.
London, okay, kinda cloudy and dull.
Toronto, cold but not too cold, snowy but not too snowy. I like winter in Toronto.

I have similar sentiments. I like SOME seasonal variation which Honolulu really doesn't have. London has OK temps but is too dull and gloomy. I could tolerate Toronto but Novosibirsk is definitely out. Not sure.
Voted for Toronto. I haven't experienced winters as cold as Novosibirsk.
