I love cold and sun. The sun feels really good on your skin during a cool day!
One thing that bothers me in SC during the winter: It will snow 6 inches and stick (a half-inch sheet of 3-hour snow happens). Oh and this is the weather stations, not the people!
When people think Sydney hasn't even hit 0C just because Observatory Hill (one area in Sydney) hasn't recorded such temperatures.
*Sydney Airport all time record low is −0C (32F), which is also on the coast.
*The record low in the Sydney region is a freezing −8C (17F), observed in Richmond, which is 63km inland (39mi).
*Bankstown Airport recorded a low of −4.0C (25F) and it isn't that inland.
*Another suburb not far off the coast (Canterbury) has recorded a low of −1C (30F).
Sydney shouldn't always abide to Observatory Hill measurements.
People here thinks extreme heat (35+c for here) = dry. Well thats often true but dewpoint still quite high, around 20-23 c, but people exaggerate the dryness "pekanbaru is like sahara"
A handful of people think Mars is hot, I think due to the red, they forgot about the distance from sun
