^ Or when people say things like Phoenix is more tolerable than NYC in summer because it has "no humidity".

NYC's average high in July is 84 F and Phoenix is 106 F. I don't think 84 F could ever feel like 106 F, plus Phoenix gets humidity from time to time.

84 with 100% humidity is a heat index of 104. With humidex it would be possible but does anyone take that seriously?

Sun = good
Rain = bad

That sounds silly. Anyone with half a brain knows we need all of it or we don't do too well.

Yep. We're in a pretty severe drought here in South FL this summer, you won't believe the amount of bitching we still get every time it rains. People are too self-centered, if the weather inconveniences them in any way, they automatically see it as "bad" weather. I bet they won't be complaining about rain when we get water restrictions.

People here don't like cool, wet weather like we're getting now until we're in a severe drought with wildfires burning everywhere.

The moronic girls here in Miami complain whenever it rains because it ruins their hair or they can't go out and tan, meanwhile all the lawns around them are going brown and the trees have dry-stressed leaves on them.

People here are the same.

Brown lawns and dry-stressed leaves are normal here though. The city is actually encouraging us not to water our lawns so we can save water.

Strong sunlight = Annoying, exhausted
Overcast and light showers = Pleasant, calm

I don't like to hear people always associate cloudy weather as negative mood.

Brown lawns and dry-stressed leaves are the norm in late winter/early spring here....but summer is usually GREEN here. To have that here is quite alarming...

And damn that sucks :/ did the recent rain alleviate it in any way?
