Well actually you & 2 others cared enough yesterday to say my readings were incorrect, so I suggest that you should get over yourself

I commented on what Dean York said, replying that many people have over exposed PWS's (Not necessarily you), and it's often because there are not many good locations to put a PWS, you tend to find them in areas where there is more artificial heating from buildings etc.. because most people don't have a lot of space for them. It is of interest to me, the issue, because I myself am the owner of a PWS, and desire accurate readings. For myself ,(to hell with you), even 1.6C above the high of my nearest official station would be too inaccurate for my liking. My station retains an accuracy of some ~0.3°C of the nearest official site. Not that I should have to explain myself....

If you chose to get all defensive about it that's your issues to be resolved in your mind.

I wasn't getting all defensive & I have no issues that need to be resolved in my mind thanks. I have spent a lot of time, money & effort on my weather station, getting it to read as accurately as possible, which I now believe it does. So I was slightly annoyed by people suggesting I was making up my readings or that I had an over exposed sensor, especially when my tempertures are not hugely different to my local Met station, that's all...

I live in a city so my temperatures are going to be higher than surrounding areas, a difference of 1.6C is nothing, I have recorded a greater difference between sensors in my own garden!. On another forum I go on some idiot said it was 22C today in Cheshire, when locally it was no higher than 16C! Now that is an over exposed sensor...

I'd take Portsmouth over NI any day, as would most people on this forum I'd imagine ( or hope ).
