A rain band is circulating over my area since the early afternoon, so we already got 36 mm ( 1.2 inches) of rain today. More than enough.

I love the shorter days now. Less blazing sun in my window during the afternoon. Pretty dark now.

Last year I was in a room that faced east, but I didn't mind the morning sun as much.

Same here I especially notice it at around 5-6 PM that the sun is not nearly as strong as it was back in mid-August when I moved here. Though the difference probably isn't nearly as drastic as yours however.
